Fall days:
1. Getting up in the morning to light outside. Needing sunglasses to drive to work, turning the corner at the Frank Sinatra Drive curve facing the Mandalay Bay and being blinded by the sun reflecting off of the gold tower.
2. Taking my lunchtime walk on the usual route, enjoying the bright blue sky and getting back to work with beads of sweat under my hair because it’s still over 80f (27c).
3. Walking out of work at the end of the day, it’s still warm, and finding a beautiful red sunset, with some high clouds adding to the color.
4. Remembering our visit to see friends in Sweden several years ago, enjoying the green then, and seeing the weather listing in the newspaper showing they are enjoying 24f nights with snow already. Makes me really glad I’m here.
