Halloween is starting to take off here in Oz. I'm not into it simply because we don't have the historic background to go with it. It's just another commercial enterprise made to make us spend too much money.
But, I do enjoy seeing the costumes and stuff that people come up with when they celebrate :-)
It was pouring rain and 40 degrees here for trick or treat, but that didn't stop the kids... they were so weighted down I'm amazed they could still walk. My youngest managed to eat so much candy that she puked... now THERE'S an accomplishment, I've seen the quantities of the stuff the kid can ingest.
