Just a little warm
The national weather service issued a severe heat alert for Las Vegas today. After living here for a while I guess that means it was expected to be pretty hot. Well, getting into my car it seemed a bit warm, and it took the air conditioner quite a while to cool the car down. I looked down and saw why:

One more degree for that record high. I really, REALLY do not envy you: I'd be non functional in that heat.
Its ridiculous, seriously. My car read 116. sheesh!
Ouch! That's HOT!
They did an experiment on a car here in LA. 98 degrees outside, then left in the sun it heated up to 113 degrees. In 20 minutes.
Now I've got to figure how to stay out of southern Nevada until August! Yeah, it will be lots cooler, sure!

I will never gain complain about 92..of course, yours is a "dry heat" isn't it?
