Three turkey things:
1. Mmm – turkey sandwiches.
2. To get Thanksgiving dinner with the kids and they do the cooking.
3. To come home safely and get to make our own turkey dinner, with the leftovers all for me. (B doesn’t like leftovers much, she would rather new).
4. Did I say how much I like the leftovers from Turkey day? Sandwiches, dressing with gravy, smashed potatoes with gravy, mmmm.

We haven't got the kids trained well enough to be cooking Thanksgiving. Congratulations! You taught them well.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. :)
We don't do Thanksgiving, so our next big one is Christmas. For me, it's cold salads, ham, possibly chicken and duck - which I get to cook Christmas eve. Summer is too hot for anything traditional!
Bring on leftovers I say! Well, I would if we had any. I have this terrible habit of not overcatering much...
I'm glad you had a good one!
Joe! How is Buster?
Buster didn't make it to Thanksgiving. He liked turkey, but after twenty years with us he just had enough.
Haha ! it does seem to be rather a good thing that you like turkey so much Joe .
Sorry to hear about Buster. He has had a good innings.
And why did I have to read your blog RIGHT BEFORE LUNCH! Hungry now....
