Its sunny here in Vegas (well, we get, what, 350 sunny days a year?) and a little cool. After that nice weekend it did cool off – one morning last week it was -4 (25f) and didn’t warm up much over 4 (40f), the next morning it was down to -5 (23f)! I don’t remember it ever getting that cold since we’ve been here. But yesterday it was back up to 21 (70f) with our normal 16 (30f) temperature difference between early morning and afternoon. We’ve finished up with the yard trimming, I finally ordered a few bare root rose bushes, as there were some I had in San Diego that I really liked for cutting. We’ll see how they do here. Not much into winter vegetables, but about ready to start the tomato seeds inside for transport out to the beds in March.
We have tickets for the show Jubilee at Bally’s on Saturday. We saw the end of the other feather show at the Tropicana before it closed, which leaves Jubilee as the last place with a grand showgirls in feathers and topless for the late show (we have early show tickets, oh well) show. About time for us to start doing the round of Cirque shows again. During January and February most of the Cirque shows have special $99 for two tickets for locals, B likes Ka, I’ll have to get some before the end of the month.
Sunshine over City Center
Some Hawaiian sunshine for those of you stuck in the snow

The Cirq that visits here is the full extravaganza, and we have seen Quidam and Varakai, LOVED them. but they are so expensive it's a rare treat for us to see. And the merchandise is horrifically priced as well. Oh well.
I bought Dobby tickets for Good Charlotte - that's about the only show we'll get to see for awhile (and I've been told I'm not cool enough to take, she wants to take a friend instead...)
glad to hear all is well!
I'm so sick of winter!
Okay, I just found your blog and dislike you already. Weather jealousy breeds dislike. :-)
Hope it gets warm!
Yup, it's been cold here too.
I have when it's in the negatives.
Oh! Cirque shows at $99 for two tickets for locals are really a good deal! i'll go to buy ones for next weekend.
Oh my! That is soooo cold! I'd never survive. Even the thought of summer could help me through that. :) I freeze if the temp drops below 22 (72f)!
Hope you had a good V-day!
