First day of summer

How to tell you’ve lived in Vegas long enough: when you look at the weekly weather report: 97,98,101, 103 (40f) and say out loud “oh, 103, that’s not too bad”. Then the smart side kicks in and you think “did I really just say that 103 was not bad?” Then you realize that this is summer in Vegas, and yes, 103 is not that bad.

normal summer day here in Adelaide, 40C. Actually it's considered extreme when it goes over 35, but since it goes over 35 a heck of a lot, it's always extreme!

Winter over here. Cold and damp. The grass grows too fast, the house is dark and closed up, the washing won't dry. You know, usual stuff :-)

I'll be honest, I don't notice a difference from the 90's to the 100's here in Arizona, its all just insane hot.

103F is nice and warm though. So far it's cooling enough in the night that we can open the house and get a breeze. Hope it's working that way for you too.
